It is safe to say that everyone over the age of six is familiar with the biblical story of Noah's Ark. But few are aware if this entry in the New York files of the Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company, which has one of the largest archives on marine disasters in the world:

Noah's Ark, built in 2448 B.C. Gopher wood, pitched within and without. Length, three hundred cubits; width, 50 cubits; height 30 cubits. Three decks. Cattle carrier. Owner: Noah and Sons. Last reported stranded Mount Ararat.
