You Can Make Glue From Milk And Vinegar.
When vinegar is added to milk thick lumps of casein
develop from the proteins in the milk. The fibers in materials like paper attract the
casein which makes them stick together. As the glue dries this bond strengthens.
How To Make Glue.
You will need:
- your parents permission
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar.
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 paper cups
- plastic spoon
- 1 coffee filter
Step 1 - Pour the milk into the first cup. Then stir in the vinegar and let
stand about 3 minutes.
Step 2 - Put the coffee filter in the second cup and pour in the mixture. Allow
the mixture to drain for a minute.
Step 3 - Scrape the lumps from the coffee filter into the third cup. Then
mix the baking soda with the lumps to make the glue.
Step 4 - You're done just clean up the mess and use your glue to bond some paper
together.
