tomatosauce using recipe above
3 lb. container whole milk ricotta cheese
2 16 oz. packages of whole milk mozzarella cheese sliced thin
Boil ziti until tender in a large pot of salted water. Drain and add
ricotta cheese and enough tomato sauce so that it is not sticky. Put a
layer of sauce in the bottom of a large baking pan and spoon in half of
the ziti mixture. Cover this layer with half the mozzarella cheese.
Spoon the rest of the ziti into the pan and spoon a little more sauce on
it. Cover with the rest of the mozzarella cheese. Set in a 375 degree
oven for about 45 minutes or until slightly brown and bubbly.
Note: I prefer using Poly-O cheese
