About Cooking With NanaWelcome to Cooking With Nana. In this section of All About Stuff I, Marilyn Maggio (Nana) will give you some of my favorite family recipes each month. These culinary delights will be of my own making, enjoyed by my family (five children, twelve grandchildren) and friends for many years. They are not "fancy" in appearance, they are definitely not slimming, but they will (I hope) delight your stomach and your spirit

       My recipes will not always be measured precisely, a pinch of this and a drop of that and reliance on my own taste buds is what I usually go with. But I will try my best to put these pinches and drops into cups and spoonfuls. don't be afraid to experiment. Rely on your own taste and everything will work out fine. No two cooks even following the same recipe will produce a dish that is exactly the same. For instance, when I say to chop an ingredient you may chop it finely; I, on the other hand, chop coarsely. It won"t make a difference in the reliability of the recipe, just the texture. So go ahead and have fun - try out my recipes on your family and friends.
